Terms ofservice.
These terms cover using this website and having work done by Ascend Customs. Nothing here replaces the written quote and work order you sign at drop-off — if the two ever disagree, your work order wins.
Quotes and pricing
Prices on this site, including everything on the pricing page, are starting points for common vehicles. The number that binds us is the written quote we send for your specific vehicle, and it holds for 30 days unless it says otherwise. Quotes assume the vehicle arrives in the condition described. If the work turns out to be different once the car is in front of us — old film that fights removal, paint that needs correction before a coating, aftermarket bodywork, previous damage — we stop, tell you the revised number, and wait for you to approve it before continuing. You will never receive an invoice for work you did not agree to.
Estimating tools
The tools on this site are planning aids. The tint simulatorapproximates how a film shade looks on a screen, which is not the same as glass in sunlight. Theoffset visualizer andtire calculator use nominal geometry and cannot know your suspension, camber, brake package, or liner clearances. Thecoverage selector andwrap picker describe typical packages, not a measured panel list for your car. Treat every output as a starting point to confirm with us, and do not order parts or commit to a spec on a tool result alone.
Appointments and deposits
Quotes are free and cost nothing to request. Booking an install slot may require a deposit, and special-order items — wheels, tires, wrap film in a specific colour — generally require one, because they are ordered for your vehicle and cannot be returned to stock. Deposits for special orders are non-refundable once the order is placed. Give us as much notice as you can if you need to move an appointment; late cancellations may forfeit a booking deposit.
Your vehicle while it is with us
Please remove valuables before drop-off. We are responsible for damage we cause, and not for pre-existing conditions, mechanical faults that surface independently of our work, or items left in the vehicle. Glass with existing chips or cracks may worsen during film removal or installation; we will point out anything we see at drop-off and get your go-ahead before proceeding. Paint that is already failing — peeling clear, primer showing, fresh unbaked repaint — may not survive film or wrap removal, and we will tell you before applying anything to it.
Customer-supplied parts and materials
We will install parts you supply where we judge it safe to do so, but we cannot warrant a product we did not select and cannot cover consequential problems caused by it. Labour on customer-supplied goods is charged whether or not the part performs.
Warranties
Film and coating products carry the manufacturer's warranty, and our labour is warranted against installation defects such as lifting edges, contamination, and peeling. Warranties do not cover damage, neglect, pressure washing an edge, chemical attack, road debris beyond the film's rating, or work altered by someone else. Warranty service requires that you are the original customer and that we have a record of the installation, which is why we keep one. Specific terms come with your paperwork.
Legal compliance
We install window film to Utah law. We do not install non-compliant front side film on street-driven vehicles, and we will not certify a vehicle as legal in another state. Utah's limits are summarised on ourtint law page and set out in Utah Code 41-6a-1635; that summary is general information, not legal advice, and enforcement decisions rest with law enforcement and the courts. Choosing a legal shade does not guarantee you will never be stopped. If you present a medical exemption, you are responsible for keeping the documentation with the vehicle.
Website content
The text, layout, photography, tools, and code on this site belong to Ascend Customs. Brand names appear only to identify products we install and imply no endorsement by their owners. Do not copy this site's content or tools for commercial use without permission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to work performed is limited to the amount you paid for that work, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost use, lost income, or towing arranged without us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and contact
These terms may change; the current version is always the one posted here. Questions go toinfo@ascendcustoms.com or 801-880-8380. How we handle the information you send is covered in our privacy policy. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
