Murray sits on top of the I-15 and I-215 interchange, which makes it the most commute-heavy city we serve. Stop-and-go merging, all-day parking, and hard water are the three local facts that decide what is worth installing on a Murray car.

Murray conditions
The I-15 and I-215 interchange concentrates merging traffic, construction, and heavy trucks in a very small area, and merging traffic is where rock chips come from — you are following closely, at speed, in the lane where debris collects. Murray commuters get chip damage on the front bumper and hood edge at a rate that surprises people who only drive fifteen minutes each way. The impact package or a full front is the direct answer, and because the damage is concentrated low on the vehicle it is one of the cases where the cheaper coverage genuinely does most of the job.
Murray has a large employment base around Intermountain Medical Center and the TRAX corridor, which means a lot of vehicles sit in uncovered lots from early morning to evening five days a week. That is the worst-case exposure profile for a car interior: dashboards crack, seat bolsters fade, and steering wheels get too hot to hold. Ceramic tint on all the glass plus a clear 70% ceramic windshield is the single most effective fix, and unlike most upgrades you feel the difference on the first afternoon rather than in a year.
Salt Lake County water is hard, and Murray has a high concentration of automatic brush washes near the commuter corridors. The combination is what puts fine swirl marks and etched water spots into the clear coat of an otherwise well-kept car. A coating solves the second problem outright — spots release instead of bonding — and it makes the first problem easier to avoid, because a coated car actually comes clean with a touchless rinse. We include a single-stage correction with every coating, which on a brush-washed Murray commuter is usually the most visible part of the job.

Legal note
Murray is in Utah, so front side windows must pass 35% VLT and the windshield is limited to the AS-1 strip. There is no city ordinance that loosens or tightens it, and a Murray address does not change what an officer measures.
We install to the statute on street-driven vehicles. The full breakdown, including the 5% meter variance and medical exemptions, is on our Utah window tint law page.

If those fifteen minutes cross the I-15/I-215 merge, yes. Chip damage tracks how much merging and truck traffic you sit in, not total distance. The impact package covers the low front where the damage actually lands and costs a fraction of a bumper repaint.
The correction we include with every coating will remove most light swirls, and the coating then makes it far easier to keep the car clean without going back through a brush. It is chemical protection, though — it will not stop a brush from putting new marks in, so a touchless rinse is the follow-up habit.
What owners say
Ceramic on the whole truck plus the windshield. Cabin is a different vehicle in August, and the tint line at the top of the doors is dead straight on all four.
Marcus T. — F-150 LariatThey talked me out of the setup I came in asking for because it would have rubbed at full lock, then showed me photos of the same truck on the size they recommended. Zero rub.
Dallin R. — Tacoma TRDFull front PPF on a black car. You cannot find the edge on the hood. Took the full two days they quoted and came back exactly on the number.
